FBPM popup for selection of payment grouping

Hi AP and BCM Colleagues,

We are currently creating XML payments in format CGI_XML_CT. We execute the F110 and then execute FBPM to create the payment medium file. When the F110 contains payments in different currencies within a company code, the F110 will route the currency payments through different house banks. For example, USD through HseBank1, SGD thru HseBank2 and HKD thru HseBank3.

When we then run FBPM for the payment run, it presents a popup 'Selection of Payment Grouping, format CGI_XML_CT, pa...'. It has the 3 combinations of Company Code1/HseBank1, Company Code1/HseBank2, Company Code1/HseBank3.

It only allows 1 combination to be selected. If we select any one of these combinations it goes ahead and only generates the DME file for that house bank (ie containing that currency only). It does not create a DME file for the other 2 currencies. We have to run FBPM and select each popup line in turn to create the DME file for that combination. We need to be able to run FBPM once and have it create all necessary DME files for each currency.

In OBPM4 we have a variant assigned for each House bank of the Company Code. The variants all do the same thing - output a file to a specified directory location. Initially, we had the variants all named the same. We then changed these to have 3 different names. However the popup still occurs in FBPM.

We changed the rule under SPRO -> BCM -> Payment Grouping -> Rule Maintenance to for example only have grouped by Company Code, then grouped by Company Code AND all 3 house Banks, then (Company Code AND HseBank1) OR (Company Code AND House Bank 2) OR (Company Code AND House Bank 3).

However we are still getting the popup in FBPM.

Can you advise please how do we avoid this popup and ensure the system creates a DME file for multiple currencies/house banks when there are several currencies/house banks involved in the F110?

See attached.

Thanks and regards

Michael
