How to find a range of values easily in Navigation Panel filter popup

Hello!

Can anyone tell me how to easily find a range of values that start with a letter (ie: "z") for a dimension when filtering on a dimension in the Navigation Panel?

We have a dimension that has around 300 values so these values do NOT appear in the filter panel because the panel seems to have a limit of 100 values.  There around 130 of these values that start with a Z and our user wants to easily be able to select these to review the data in a crosstab but when we go to the Selected Range portion of the filter popup, we cannot find an easy way to do some type of "Z0000 to Z9999" filtering.  If we put in z*, the list complains there are too many values, if we put in Z0000 in Starts At the panel complains it cannot find the value.  The only way we can find all values that start with a "z" is to pull in just that one dimension into the Row portion of the navigation panel, sort the column in the crosstab in descending order and then write down the first value that starts with "z" and the last value that starts with "z" and then go back into the filter members panel and plug these in - which is very cumbersome and gives my users frown-y faces.  :-(

It must be easier and we are just missing it.  Can someone help us?
